Our ethos

eResman was built by care home managers, for care home managers on the back of two fundamental and guiding principles:
• It should be simple to use – recognising that care professionals who may have little or no computer experience will be the ones using it.
• It must comply with legislative requirements as well as provide all the information required to run a home efficiently.

With those principles in mind, and with constant feedback and input from our userbase; eResman continues to grow, expand and meet the growing needs of care providers.

Hi, just a quick update today. We've added greater flexibility to the access / menu privileges for Carers so that admins can remove features that they may not need for the mobile / Carer view.

Some minor changes behind the scenes to how image uploads are handled. Nothing much to see I'm afraid with this update, but we have a whole host of visual tweaks / improvements that we've been busy working on these past few months which should make things a little nicer for you all. …just as soon as we finish polishing them!

We've updated the Mobile Admin with a number of tweaks to make it easier for admins to assign and reassign mobile access for carers. Also some additions to reporting, with some new reports, changes to layouts based on feedback, and a new export to Excel which is being trialled with a select group of beta testers.

We've added more functionality both to the core eRESMAN system and the mobile / Carer view. Check under the Residents > Health menu to see some new functionality! Note: If you don't see any changes in the Quick Add menu then speak to your System Administrator as we have the option to customise this view on a per home basis. :)

It's nice a sunny day outside, but for those of you working with eResman, we have some summer treats for you; Further additions and tweaks to the Resident Checklists; including the ability to log a fluids in target for a resident, and a notice icon allowing you to see at a glance if a resident has met their target over the past 24hrs.

The Document Management module has been shown some love in this update with new ways of searching and tagging your files to make finding those documents far easier to do. In fact, the Resident / Staff Documents, and the Document Manager screens have all been updated with new features, and some existing features have been re-worked based on feesback from yourselves.

As you can see, there's some much requested features in this update, the Tags in particular have been hotly anticipated. After we've had the feedback from Beta users, we hope to be rolling this out to all users in the coming weeks.

As usual, Beta users can head over to the "What's New" section to see these changes in greater detail.

Major updates today to both the Care view, and the full eResman system. We have a checklist view, with the ability to configue who goes on which checklist and settings regarding check intervals etc. Updates to the Fluids tracking, to include amounts, types, and the ability to track if a Resident was offered a drink but didn't consume any.

As well as the Checklists and Fluids updates, theres a number of quality of life updates to the Care view, some tweaks here and there to make things a little easier and more consistent across the board, and on multiple browsers. We've also added some configurable reminders to make it easier to see at a glance if some actions are being missed.

Over on the core eResman system we have some additional screens to control / admin the checklists, along with a new look and feel for many of icons, and some additional information addeed to a number of reports.

Lots of good stuff in this update, and we hope to be rolling this out to all users in the coming weeks.

Today we're rolling out a new feature to the Beta testers; Challenging Behaviour. This new screen allows a challenge (verbal / physical) to be logged along with any additional information regarding triggers / preceding events / witnesses etc. in a similar manner to the recent Accidents update.

Another update to the new-look Accidents tab, finally bringing us the ability complete specific interval based checks for an accident and collate them in a single place for review. Note: Once a check has been completed for an accident these can be seen against the accident record, and will also appear under the regular checks tab along with your normal checks.

Once we're happy with this one, we should be in a position to roll it out to the regular / non-beta users soon, we think you're going to love this one.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉
The first update of the New Year sees a long awaited feature rolling out to the beta testers. We've consolodated the different types of alerts that can be created (both by users, and system generated ones) and we have a new "alerts" tab for each resident. In here you can see every alert, past or present, and filter by type / date etc. for review. Action any alerts that are no longer relevant or have been dealt with, and clicking on any alert will take you straight to the relevant screen and record in the system so you can get right to the source of the alert.

Along with this new feature, there are a number of lesser tweaks to the system, and a further update to the new accidents module based on feedback from our core beta testers. (thanks guys!)

New feature for you beta testers! We've revisted the Accidents tab, and features surrounding it and have extended it in consultation with a group of our core users. The new Accidents tab will be extended over the coming weeks as we finish polishing and testing some of the extended features but the core functionality is there now for you to test.

This includes some all new UI features, new ways to select residents / users for witnesses and people contacted. We allow the end user to capture a tonne more information regarding not only that accident itself, but how it was dealt with; were GPs informed, by who, and when? What treatment was given, was it requested by a GP? Were safeguarding issues raised, did CQC need to be informed? All of this can be captured, along with managers comments and a lot more besides, and it's all in an easy to read / easy to complete format.

A major update to the eResman Care / Mobile app sees a new Safety Checks screen, which allows a user to quickly record a safety check against a resident.

The new screen shows a list of residents, ordered by their next 'due' check, based on the settings configured against a resident, highlighting their priority by colour, so the user can see at a glance who needs checking and when.

Marking a Resident as safe, is as quick as tapping a button. A negative check requires some additional information and will automatically generate a system alert for that Resident.

As well as this, we've revised the layout to make better use of larger / tablet or desktop screens for the Mobile view, and added Activities & Interests to the Care tab.

A far reaching update in preparation for a huge, upcoming update to the eResman Care module. This update includes some changes to the Body Map, and the Resident Details screen, along with a new feature being added to the eResman Care / Mobile app.

First some changes to the Body Map allowing a user to schedule review dates for an individual 'event', per observation, as well as the ability to change the severity of an 'event' per observation.

Also, we've tweaked the Checks tab to allow a user to filter eRESMAN Safety Checks in readiness. As well an addition to the Resident Profile tab, to allow a user to decide who needs to have a Safety Check, and the frequency required.

Some new updates to the eResman Care / mobile app; you can now capture additional information on the Care > Checks screen, was well as viewing a running count of the fluids in / out. Some minor changes here and there too, including additional visibility for any specific dietary requirements on the Resident Profile.

A huge update, probably the biggest so far this year! This bumper update includes a reworked version of the Body Map, allowing for multiple observations to be made per event. These observations include defined areas for; Size, Pain, Cleaning, Dressing and more. We've included the ability to quickly duplicate an observation to allow the user to easily create a new one without copy / pasting and then editting, amongst a whole host of other useability tweaks. These changes have been developed based on direct feedback with some of our core users, so we're confident that you're going to love what we've done here.

As well as updating the Body Map fuctionality, we've updated the MUST scoring to generate an alert and add a 'Notice' icon to a residents profile based on their most recent scores.

Users can now digitially sign / countersign important records to mark themselves present, and state that they have read a document. This feature has been included on Meetings, Appraisal, Disciplinaries and more.

Besides all this, there are a number of quality of life fixes and updates to the system, including minor changes to the layout and displying of Notice icons, as well as a way of entering dates and bunch of other tweaks. Enjoy!

Although we might have been a bit quiet on here, needless to say we haven't been sat twiddling our thumbs. Huge update to all beta testers today; including the initial release of the much asked for MUST tool, along with a whole host of useability improvements and a couple of new features. Check it out, and give us your feedback. Once we're happy with it we'll be rolling it out to more users coming soon.

Well, we've had a couple of feature roll-outs this month, and some new homes joining us on the latest beta. Which means that we're now gearing up to roll this build out to the remaining homes in the near future. Today see's the soft-launch of version 1.0 of the eResman Care mobile application. Those of you that have been trialling this, thanks for all of your valuable feedback.
